The Big Walk and Wheel is the UK’s biggest inter-school walking, wheeling, scooting and cycling challenge! We need your support to help make this year’s Big Walk and Wheel the biggest one yet!

See if your child's school is taking part in Big Walk and Wheel and visit their public profile page by using the search function below. If they do not appear in the list then they have not yet signed up to the challenge.

By encouraging your child’s school to sign up, you’re helping create a fun, active environment that benefits your children, staff and the wider community. Please remember, only schools can register for Big Walk and Wheel. Parents and caregivers cannot sign up directly.

• Download the Parent/ Caregiver Letter and share it with your school to let them know about the challenge and how to get involved.
• Spread the Word. Talk to other parents, caregivers, teachers or your school’s PTA.
• Encourage your children to take part by walking, wheeling, scooting or cycling to school during the challenge and help their school climb the leaderboard!
• No need to log journeys yourself, the school will take care of that.
• We’re here to help: Our Top Tips guide and resources make it easy to get started and keep the momentum going. 
• Make the school run fun: Try our free School Journey Bingo resource.
• Share your story: We would love to hear from parents and caregivers who are supporting Big Walk and Wheel. Please email bigwalkandwheel@walkwheelcycletrust.org.uk if you would like to share your story. You could also post on social media using #BigWalkandWheel
